Thank you so much for visiting our shop! Here is a little background on how our shop was started.  In 2019, I became a stay-at-home mom and stepped down from my career after 12 years as a music therapist. I first began my journey as an Etsy shop owner in 2021 when I started selling Print- On- Demand apparel.  I wanted to find an outlet for creativity that I could do from home.  I started creating designs centered around Music Therapy-a field close to my heart, Scottish apparel and other special interest designs as well. Under the specialty gifts menu, you can view these products.

In 2022, I decided to expand to another shop that is focused on Ohio gifts, and Akron gifts and other communities that I have a strong connection to. This shop is called “Blessings from Ohio” because I feel very blessed by the Lord for all He has done in our lives. I also feel blessed to live here in Ohio, and I want to share these blessings with others and brighten their days. I began making special soaps in our family kitchen shaped like the Blimp and the state of Ohio, and then began thinking of ways to create a full gift experience that people could send to friends, loved ones or clients. I also made some Akron baby gift sets including personalized onesies with blimp soaps including a children’s book by LeBron James.  I researched local Ohio and Akron businesses and chose products that represent Ohio quality as well as products that give back to the community.  My first Ohio gift boxes were listed shortly before Thanksgiving and the holiday season catapulted me into a new adventure!  I was suddenly in touch with so many people who wanted to send their love of Ohio to their friends and loved ones, and I found myself mailing packages to all over the United States including Hawaii, Alaska, and even to our neighbor country Canada!

Especially in today’s times, we try to live frugally, and know that others are also trying to live on a budget.  This is why it is important to me to make our gifts affordable and accessible including free domestic shipping on our gift boxes and baskets.  Many of our packages include up to three options depending on your gifting budget.

I love connecting with my customers and helping them make their recipients feel loved by adding personalized cards and thoughtful touches to their packages.  I am also happy to make substitutions to customize orders.  I am always open to new ideas, and if I can help you create a gift for someone special to you, or find a gift to help a client feel valued, please let me know!
